Ed Burris Disposal Service LLC offers you three different residential waste removal plans to choose from. For more than 66 years, our local, family-owned and operated business has efficiently hauled away garbage for families in Southern Illinois.

Basic Curb Service - Starting at $23.50 Per Month***
- Weekly pickup service on a street, alley, or road with 3 or more homes on it.
- *Includes up to 70 gallons of bagged household waste per week (2 standard 35 gallon garbage cans, with a weight limit of 40lbs per container or 1 64 gallon tote) and basic recycling.
- Add $8.75 per month for every additional 35 gallons of household waste per week.
Driveway Service - Starting at $31.40 Per Month***
- Our truck enters your driveway for pickup, saving you a trip to the curb!
- Add $7.90 per month to the Basic Service for driveways up to 1/10 of a mile.
- Each additional 1/10 of a mile adds $2.70 per month.
Carryout Service - Starting at $43.50 Per Month ***
- We’ll carry those trash cans for you from your garage, shed, or backyard. You won't have to worry about putting the trash out anymore.
- Waste and recyclables carried up to 50 feet adds $20.00 per month to Basic Service.
- For each additional 35 gallons of carryout household waste, add $11.00 per month. For each additional 50 feet $14.50.
Additional Information About Residential Waste Services
All rates are for prearranged services and include recycling. Our residential routes begin at 6:30 AM. Additional waste can be collected on an occasional or one-time basis at the cost of $2.00 per 35 gallons. Bulky or heavy items such as furniture, construction debris, or shingles are not covered under these services. For larger amounts of waste, heavy or bulky items our roll-off services may be a better fit. You can call our office to arrange for a special pick up also.
We require a (30) thirty day cancellation notice for any refunds or credits.
A reinstatement fee of $5.00 will be assessed to all accounts stopped for nonpayment at the time of restart.
ALL HOUSEHOLD TRASH MUST BE BAGGED!
Please Plan Ahead!
If your service has been suspended or stopped due to vacation, hospital stay, non payment, etc or if you want to schedule a call in, an extra pick up or a cleanup, PLEASE DO NOT call the day of service or leave a message the night before for that pick up or to resume your service.
Our drivers have picked up their paper work the evening before or early morning with the notes for these requests attached. Your start back or other pick up requests will be scheduled for the next week's pick up or another pick up day available at which time there could be an additional charge. Thank you for your cooperation and continued business!
State law requires separate collecting of yard waste, electronics, tires, appliances, and hazardous waste. We do not provide services for removal of these items, except yard waste, and we can arrange for a roll-off designated for yard waste only. Yard waste containers are not disposed of in the landfill.
HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS CAN NOT GO INTO THE TRASH! Things like Drano, pool chemicals, bug sprays, etc.... CAN NOT go into the trash!
There is a DANGER to the driver if these items explode when compacted! They can also leak and get on skin or into eyes causing serious injury!
Please contact your County Health Department to find the safest way to dispose of these items!
